Greatest B-Side song ever!!
Welcome back WMW fanatics! This week Jashens is taking an in-depth look at the greatest B-side song ever released. It's legit rarely included in anyone's album regardless of who performs it. Originally written by the 80s punk/rock sensation "BUDGIE", Breadfan has been all over the place, covered by two of the most incredible metal bands of all time! From our local shores to across the planet.

The vocalist/bassist for Budgie, Burke Shelley, said the song is about people who like money - or "bread" as it was commonly called where they lived at the time of writing the song - and how people, especially bands, can get too greedy.
One possibility is that the songwriter particularly loved getting the breadsticks at the local Olive Garden, but they were always served fresh out of the oven and thus too hot to immediately enjoy, so he wished he had some sort of fan to cool them more quickly so he could eat them right away.
It could also be about an enthusiast of the 70’s soft rock band Bread.
But who also loved getting their bread? Well, how about Metallica?

or the incomperable Ningen Isu!? Yes, even Shinji Wajima liked to get his bread!

Have you heard this tune? Do you love it as much as I do? Well, DO YA!?! You should, it's an incredible song that I think is as inspirational to rock/metal as songs like "Turn the Page" by Bob Seger. Until next time my filthy loves!
