Decade of Crisis

Strap in, Wacky Music Fleshfaces, because we've got something truly special coming out of Papua New Guinea. There's a band making waves, and their latest sonic assault isn't just about killer riffs; it's a profound statement rooted in the tragic Bougainville Crisis. We're talking about the devastating 1988 conflict that saw over 20,000 lives lost, a bloody legacy tied directly to the Panguna open-cut copper mine.

This isn't just a song; it's a testament to resilience. It's a defiant stand, urging Bougainvillians to overcome the shadows of oppression and discrimination that linger, even as their land bears the scars of deep wounds. With Dr. Wiz at the helm in GL Productions and Kongara Productions crafting the visual narrative, this track and video are more than just art—they're a crucial piece of history amplified through metal. Lest we forget.

I'm like WAYY into this!  It's a bit of speedy punk/thrash mixed with a drop of nostalgia. Like, this feels like some early Stuck Mojo or Faith No More, which is a good thing! The best way to evoke awareness and to spread a message is through music. Period. I'm here for it all! <3

Be good to one another!!  I will see you next time!
