My Identity: The First Noble Truth

 

Welcome dear wary traveler!  You are on day 6th of Wacky Music Week!! And we're now on Identity 6! and what do we have here, but the smash you in face band; Shadows Fall!!  "The First Noble Truth" was not the first SF song I had heard, but it was an incredibly awesome way to find out that new Shadows music was available.

Matter of fact, the first few albums that Shadows Fall put together in the late 90s and early 2000s was remasterings/remakes of a few of their more popular songs! If you're looking for an earlier song of Shadows Fall that is badass look for "Somber Angel" from their '98 album "Somber Eyes to the Sky". It's a lovely song that builds from an acoustic intro into a more familiar track that echoes SF's brilliant guitar work. It's one of my favorites of theirs- ENJOY!!

Just a beautiful acoustic build that unloads badass riffs, heavy chorus, screaming vocals and an overall satisfying edge that Shadows Fall is famous for today. Seems simple enough!  Now, how do we end this week's WACKYNESS?
