I can't do this all on my own

(I'm no) "Superman" by Lazlo Bane has been ringing in my head since 2001 as one of the very best TV show theme songs of all time. Wacky Music Wednesdays are for this EXACT purpose!  A reminder of two things; ONE- a new (oh boy!) season of Scrubs is coming this Feb on ABC and Hulu (PAID ADVERTISEMENT!!)  #givememoney which I'm ... luke warm on honestly. New seasons of classic shows are SUPER hit or miss. While I hope it does hit a homerun, I fear it'll water down the overall impact Scrubs has had on my life.

....and finally two: Lazlo Bane’s anthem is a gentle reality check that while most of us can’t leap tall buildings—and honestly, we’re usually just trying not to trip on the sidewalk—we don’t need a cape to be a hero. It captures the beautiful, slightly messy truth of being human: we aren't made of steel and we definitely can't fly, but showing up and loving someone with our whole, imperfect hearts is a superpower all on its own, and frankly, that’s much more impressive than wearing tights.

While, it's true- I've worn a pair of tights (or 12), it's a nice message for each of us to stop being so damned hard on ourselves. We're worth loving, we're amazing, and I'm glad you're here!  Have a happy Wednesday, and I'll read to you next week! <3
