The Mountains skipped like Rams

I tend to get excited while finding lyrical meaning within certain songs. Diving into a genre with a deeper meaning, or a songwriter that has a story to share. I love this, I always have. Taking a look at specific folk-lore, ideologies, or purposeful opinion based acts, I've got more of a vast collection of "liked" styles than even I was aware of.

With that being said, I've found something sort of magical over the last few weeks, something I think is worth sharing. A gentleman that goes by the name Ronnie Martin. A song style that I immediately connected with in a synth-pop, electro drum beat that you could easily imagine someone creating tracks off of a Casio keyboard that one might've gotten under the xmas tree one cool winter morning.

The Mountains Skipped like Rams - Ronnie Martin

I found an entire discography of tracks with TONS of excellence! So now, what do we have here?  A few of these are Christmas related, or just ENTIRE Christmas albums! Ok, so the dude really likes the ho ho ho holidays eh? Let's dive a bit deeper!

Let's look this dude up shall we?  Hey, Google... what's this Ronnie Martin fella all about? -

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! We're literally discovering this real time as I'm typing this. I've listened to a few of his albums front to back, and actually didn't pick up a theme that was overly Christian, nonetheless by a freak'n pastor!? Well dang, I think it's super neat!  You should give 'em a try if you're into 80s style synth-pop, or if you're looking for divine meaning from [insert god of your choice]!

Until next time kids.....
