Social media, political beliefs, war, violence in our streets, glowing rectangles on every wall and in every hand. It's all... just so much noise.  Isn't it?  Myself, I'm fatigued from it all. Kind of ironic isn't it? Here I am likely having sent you a link to come read this on your very own glowing rectangle, haha. Oh how hypocritical I am!

During the peek of the pandemic, Nightwish released a pretty rock'n little song that's often overlooked in their discography of top hits, and I think it's a shame. It might even be my favorite tune of theirs. Noise is a great song, gets to the point, has a message, and leaves you wanting more. Which is the best formula for any great song and band. 

I'm guilty of documenting my life rather than living it. Sharing images of our experiences with others vs being present in the moment. It's a challenge, and I'm working on it. I think we all could really. Finding balance really is the key to life, and now we're facing all new challenges that nobody could've predicted during our upbringing. 

We all could use a little downtime right?
