I am a witness to your demise.
A little background: John Bush is an absolute legend in the 80s/90s thrash metal scene. The dude was ACTUALLY Hetfield's and Lars' pick for Metallica front man/lead singer in 1980. They wanted him really bad, and just imagine how the metal scene could've changed back then? Like it or not, that could've completely flipped the scene. Maybe Bush's higher range would've steered 'tallica in a different direction? Who knows, but one thing is certain. He's freak'n amazing. He makes each band he's been a part of better! Here's Bush with Metallica live blast'n Four Horsemen!
Bush's voice is that perfect bridge between 80s thrash and 90s grunge. I was originally exposed to him with Anthrax in the mid 90s with albums like "Sound of White Noise" and Stomp. White Noise is FULL of smash hits, and having finally re-discovered it, I went down a nostalgic rabbit hole of my childhood! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU WACKY BAST-TOADS!!
John's voice is easily recognizable, and it's amazing that he's still able to produce such sound from his mouth. He's one of my favorite lead singers of all time.
So, what's John up to these days? Well, he's back to where it all started with the incredible Armored Saint. One of my fav's from them is one of the songs from my 'give me ambition' playlist: "With a Full Head of Steam!
