a singular connection?

 

If I flew to Japan....

This month marks 6 years since I, myself, flew to Japan. I had a pretty crazy adventure walking around Fukuoka and riding bike up a mountain. It was pretty surreal. It was around this time that someone I hadn't thought of in forever shared a song with me. I always felt a a deep, or emotional connection to certain people that have crossed my life's path. Sometimes even leaping over dimensional barriers. One song is a reminder of that.

This incredible tune called "Bridged by a Lightwave". We're all connected, each of us, and if I've ever brought you a smile while our paths crossed then it's all worth it.

This last weekend was EVERCON '26, and man am I wiped out!  So many interactions, so many laughs. But here I sit, back in my desk-chair and back typing this up. I think about where our little convention has gone since I became a part-owner in 2020, and how it's grown. How I've grown. Just a lot of reflecting this week.

We're all separated, yet connected. It's important to make peace with the world and all of the networked relationships we have.
