If I ever leave this world, alive.

Everything dies, that's for sure. No matter how long you plan on existing, eventually nobody stays. People 200 years ago are barely remembered, their existence a mere blip in the scheme of life here on earth. There's one thing about our time here, it's very much a "What have you done for me lately" existence. I wish we embraced and celebrated those from our pasts more. Especially those that aren't famous. Perhaps even those nobody knew. WHAT A VIBE EH!? LOVELY WEDNESDAY!! AIN'T IT!?  haha, oh man, death is fun. But yeah, here's a tune that's been stuck in my head lately, feels fitting.

"If I ever leave this world alive" - Flogging Molly

Here's how small my brain is: I honestly thought this song was about if he could have the ability to leave the planet, like on a space ship, rather than dying. haha. Ugh, I'm an idiot. When in reality the song has to do with acceptance, gratitude, and letting go. :(

Basically it's like, if they die, they're leaving the world alive, meaning the earth will live on. The song ultimately provides reassurance and peace, ending with the message that grief eventually subsides and those left behind will be "okay" and "alright"

Alright then, DOOM AND GLOOM THIS WEDNESDAY IT IS!!  Love ya, -Jashy
